Videographer/Video Editor
-
Jan 2019 - Jan 2021
As a videographer, I am constantly challenged to complete shoots on location both at home and abroad, at events ranging from 20 - 3000 people or in the studio for a product demo or explainers to be released globally. Filming every week has meant that, I've become more proficient in the use of camera's/stabilisation equipment/lighting/audio balancing & recording, which has only been strengthened by my drive as a director to understand the space I shoot in and how best to frame my subjects. As an Editor, a large amount of my time is dedicated to editing the footage that comes from those film shoots and the shoots of others at the company, this is always a great challenge, deciphering a wide range of subjects that I've not being exposed to before and designing the footage into a compelling story for the client. During my time with Video2web I also helped with business development, using software to track email campaigns and identify new business for the company to approach. I've worked for clients such as O2, Ernest & Young, HSBC, Thoughtspot, Ledlenser, Mizuno, Blue Prism Show less

Head Of Media/Marketing at Brookes Snow
-
Dec 2015 - May 2016
I was in charge of photography and film for the Brookes Snow society, My aim was to provide a dependant, good quality photographer and filmmaker who was versed in Photoshop and in Video production. The society benefited from a more visually exciting presence on social media, coupled with an increased level of interactivity at events due to this added visual incentive. This provided me with opportunities to hone my photography especially in terms of sport photography as the society hosted trampolining events and Dry slope skiing events, which required me to change my photography style to accommodate the fast nature of the society as well as in my films. Sep 2017 - May 2018
My vision for this festival was to bring the city of oxford an open air film festival, that could be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. The festival was not only financially successful, but was also received extremely well by attendees and local news that covered the event. I ran the festivals marketing, production, finance and direction as well as its relationships with partners for the festival. We brought some of the best films from our childhood to life over the course of two days. A task that required constant attention to detail, in order to make sure all aspects of the festival went to plan for the over 200 people who attended and paid for the event. Show less

Moving image team
-
Jul 2017 - Jul 2017
A week with Oliver Agency provided a new perspective on the agency model in the advertising industry, I was able to view Oliver's unique model. I shadowed the Moving image & post-production team for the week listening and enquiring on the decisions that were being made on the campaigns that they were producing for companies such as Unilever,Honda & Nando's and how these defined there ad campaigns for Oliver. Creating Instagram posts for the Nando's campaign and viewing the intricacies of creating international advertising pieces (due to the logistics of media regulations) & taking part in a shoot for the Chivas Regal brand, highlighting the detail required when shooting for high budget clients to produce the best caliber of work. Overall it was an incredibly insightful experience. Show less
