  LinguaContact (formerly known as Alba Longa) is a quickly growing language and translation center. Besides translation, it provides language teaching, as well as training courses for translators and interpreters.Since 2014, we have successfully developed more than 20 different online courses for translators and interpreters. I take part in all stages of course planning and execution and do my best to expand the translation school further so it covers more specialty fields, more language pairs and provides more possibilities for linguists to learn and grow.Since 2019, we also host "The Contact" annual translation conference which is one of the most important events focusing exclusively on the needs of professional translators and interpreters in Russia and CIS.I also teach the Basic course for startup translators, Translation block.   I’ve been a freelance translator since March 2007 and a registered individual entrepreneur since 2008. My education and my background gave me an opportunity to specialize in the following fields: marketing (first and foremost, I am a marketing translator), education (I am also a certified teacher, so if you want your education texts to have all the right terminology and sound right to the Russian ear, you've come to the right person!) and tourism. I occasionally work with general medical and health care texts and I have those texts proofread by a medical specialist. What’s my main goal? Well, you have probably heard the words of our poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko who said "Translation is like a woman. If it is beautiful, it is not faithful. If it is faithful, it is most certainly not beautiful." Well, I pursue both accuracy and beauty in my translation work.
