      Areas of responsibility: • First point of contact with the head office, coordinating the freight delivery schedules and resolving any unexpected operational issues; • Managing crew activities onboard and during rest/off duty periods; • Handling the crew and cargo documentation; • When carrying Dangerous Goods, making sure that they are packaged and labelled accordingly, correctly loaded and come with the complete, correct documentation. If necessary, completing the documents myself, onboard of the aircraft, before loading the cargo; • Supervising the cargo onload and offload: - Prior to loading, checking with the loadmaster the presented cargo dimension, making sure that it fits into the aircraft. - Notifying the Ops team in the head office, if the cargo, its dimensions or the paperwork do not match the information in the preliminary Cargo Manifest and then acting on instructions from the office; • Ensuring that the aircraft handling, fuel, crew transport and accommodation, are in place at every location. If there were any issues with any of the above services, I was to resolve them on the ground directly with the service provider, or notify the office for them to resolve it; • Handling all of the mission related expenses, looking after the cash funds onboard of the aircraft, as well as the company credit cards, and issuing crew their cash allowances. • Upon returning to the home base, handling all of the remaining funds to the financial department and writing up full, detailed “End of Mission Report”, accounting for all of the cash and credit card expenses, for each separate assignment. • Representing the company: throughout the mission, communicating with the clients, ensuring than they are happy with the cargo handling and any other aspects of the transportation. • Looking after the consignee/consignor representatives onboard the aircraft, when they accompany the cargo.
