Development Team Lead
-
Feb 2019 - Nov 2021
My role evolved from a developer to a team-lead, I was managing, mentoring and controlling work of a small team that includes developer, tester and designer to deliver new features to a web-viewer project. In addition we have created couple of application that were added to the digital pathology platform - the auto-deploy application that can manage on-premise installations and multiple plugins for popular digital-pathology tools.

Joined the team as a full-stack web developer, I was working on a platform for digital pathology, initially my duties were implementing new features and supporting one of web-application - web-viewer for digital slides, but soon we decided to create a new version of that viewer on new technologies - ASP.Net Core, Javascript + React/Redux, SQL and I became the main developer of that project. The new web-viewer application was high-configurable and was a huge step forward from the previous version. Also helped with migration to git from svn, setting up ci/cd pipeline Show less

Participating as a contractor in full stack web developer role, with a team we were working on a system that provides an access to a huge documents database, the system was capable of searching, displaying, tracking changes, notifying users, creating reports etc. It was implemented using C# + ASP.Net Core, Hangfire on the backend and Vue.JS + SignalR on the frontend. As a database for storing documents we were using MongoDB, AWS S3 for storing images, Elasticsearch to index and search documents and PostgreSQL for all other data. Some services with a huge payload were extracted to the separate microservices using AWS SQS as a message broker. CI/CD pipeline was built on top of Gitlab. Show less

With a team we were working as a contractors for U.S. based startup that owns Uber-like application for plumbers. My role was full stack web developer and the tech stack was mostly the same as in my previous position - C# with ASP.Net MVC/WebAPI, Javascript, Knockout.Js, SQL, Redis but with a git as vcs. I was a part of technically-strong team and the work was organised in SCRUM maneer, with a focus on code quality and stability. Left the job to get a master degree in Data Science. Started as an intern grew up to middle developer, participating in a team that was working on system that automates the process of issuing certificates, sign or cipher data. We had multiple applications, some of them were user-facing, some of them just pure API services (cloud certificates). In our projects we were utilizing C# ASP.Net MVC/WebAPI, Javascript, Typescript, Knockout.JS, SQL, HDFS, Cassandra, Memcached, Nunit+Selenium and Mercurial as vcs and TeamCity as ci/cd platform. The team was well-organized, we were working using SCRUM methodology and always paying attention to the code quality and test coverage. Show less
