I taught English at Wesley College in the early 1990's, prior to working at Murdoch University as a Lecturer in Professional Development (English Teaching) . Subsequently I joined Scotch College as the inaugural Head of Academic Support. I have fond memories of the Wesley College boys and I believe that the school culture there in the early 90's was essentially inclusive. My recent dealings with Wesley College staff and students confirms that Wesley College in South Perth, Western Australia has an egalitarian approach to boys' education and no doubt the boys are still kind and accepting of difference.
