  From December 2010 I was engaged in a FEED study (Browse field development) for Woodside Energy Ltd. The project comprised of 2 dry tree unit (DTU) platforms fixed to the sea bed with tension legs (TLP). My tasks was to create specifications and follow up possible suppliers of mechanical equipment for the Topside process and utility area. In addition I was coordinator for the General Technical Specification document and acted as deputy for Lead in mechanical department

  1st. December 2007 I started in Aker Engineering & Technology. For 3 years I was involved in the Gjøa project responsible for various procurement packages, but the role as Technical Supervisor for the MEG Regeneration and Reclamation package took most of my time. The complexity of this module, both technically and commercially made my position quite challenging and interesting.

The projects were all related to delivery of process packages with the Compact Electrostatic Coalescer technology. I was also deeply involved in the optimization of the mechanical design. Clients were Mærsk (Qatar), Petrobras (Brasil) and KBR/Chevron (UK).

This was a good way to learn the business and understand the complexity of equipment deliveries related to process parametres, process design and mechanical installation.
