I work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the department of Mathematics where I am responsible for grading assignments, quizzes, and examination. I also prepare and assign course materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials such as lecture notes, handouts, and presentations and I also tutor first year undergraduate students MAT 102 (Calculus) and MAT 104 (Introduction to Statistics), where we solve questions in MAT 102 and MAT 104 and as well prepare the students to excel in their tests, quizzes and examination. I carry out some administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, Managing email correspondence and coordinating meetings. Lastly, I create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and encourages participation from all students. This includes setting clear expectations for behavior and encouraging respectful interactions among students and also provide individualized support to students who are struggling with any mathematics or statistics courses.
