  Duties and responsibilities  Develop, implement and monitor fundraising strategies that include yearly targets to meet the costs of the current and future programs. Maintain a network of corporate contacts and effectively managing and maximizing this relationship Advise programme teams, finance on relevant requirements/compliance, potential opportunities, donor priorities and ensuring quality grant management for all related projects. Prepare and submit donor reports  Producing communication materials in support of fundraisings such as brochures, appeals, newsletters and annual reports. Contribute to the capacity building of staff in resource mobilization and fundraising more so proposal writing. Developing annual work plans based on the approved strategy if needed, preparing income and expenditure budgets for each fundraising activity. Archive both successful and unsuccessful concept notes and proposals for future use.Achievements  I successfully secured a grant of 5,000 Euros from Marieux Foundation in Lyon, towards supporting the setting up of a laboratory.  Successfully submitted a supplementary Grant Request to Foster Family Charitable Foundation for purchase of a new Toyota Land Cruiser. We got a grant of USD 70,000.  I took part in the Ideo grant challenge (How might we empower caregivers to fully seek and utilize the locally available immunization services). The Challenge is funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation where the project I submitted was among the final 32 ideas (out of over 128) that made it to the refinement stage, the project is now in the final review stage by Ideo team. I do monthly, quarterly and biannual donor reports to 7 different foundations that fund various projects in the organization I work with.  I developed a project concept for Adolescences Living with HIV project that is currently being implemented.
