      Appleseed is an open-source physically based renderer that I worked on for 4 months as part of the Google Summer of Code program. To this day, I am still contributing to appleseed occasionally. I enjoyed my summer to work on 2 different projects. The first one is an Adaptive Image Plane Sampling algorithm and the second one is a feature allowing users to stop the renderer at anytime and restart their render to the point where they stopped.
