I’ve worked with Olga for about 3 years now, first as her QA Team Leader at QLOC, and more recently alongside her as a QA Analyst at Avalanche Studios. In that time, I’ve had the chance to see Olga excel in core areas of her work, which included functional and localization QA. Having proved herself as skilled and thorough, it was no surprise to see her take on additional responsibilities, like preparing documentation, writing reports and repairing localization issues. It goes without saying she has excelled in these tasks as well. Olga’s mastery in her core role and her willingness to learn allowed her to take up new challenges as Localization Coordinator at our division. She was quick to start setting up new processes and coordinating work between the developers, production, QA and third parties, while also preparing documentation and raising awareness on localization among the team. Olga’s experience and ambition make her not only an expert on QA and localization but also a fantastic advocate for both areas. I certainly miss working with Olga on a daily basis. I believe Olga’s work leaves a long-lasting mark on her surroundings, and every team will be most fortunate to have her among their ranks.

I've had the pleasure of working with Olga across several different teams and she's consistently demonstrated her ability to take ownership of whole areas even when there's only a limited existing framework within the company, such as when she came on as Localisation Coordinator for theHunter: Call of the Wild and almost overnight transformed the way we worked with localisation while being cognisant of our existing pipelines and budget limitations. I'm particularly impressed with her willingness not to content herself with the status quo: she's a fierce advocate for improving processes across the board, and is unafraid to raise uncomfortable truths even while doing her utmost to make sure the workplace is a more welcoming environment for all. Plus she has the best taste in memes. Olga is a real asset to any team and I'm very glad to have the opportunity to work with her every day.
