I completed my six months industrial training at the Professor Nurudeen Raji research Laboratory, where I worked on a research project focused on the diagnostic analysis and production process design for PET bottle waste beneficiation in Lagos State. My primary responsibilities included conducting research on the best practices for PET bottle waste management, collecting and analyzing data on the economic and environmental impact of PET bottle waste. Throughout the project, I worked closely with a team of researchers and laboratory technicians to design and implement experiments to validate our proposed production process. I also collaborated with various stakeholders, including government agencies, waste management companies, and recyclers, to gather insights into the current PET bottle waste management. Through this experience, I gained valuable skills in research methodology, data analysis, and project management. I also developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the PET bottle waste management industry in Lagos State. Show less
