   Design, installs and maintenance/modification of communication equipments including: CPE, Switches, Routers, Media converters, and associated multiplex carrier equipments and other data transmission devices: fiber cable, cat v cable, and patch chords.  Analyzes problems and determines the source of trouble at both system and equipment levels.  Operates and maintains communication test equipment such as OTDR, Splicing machine, Power Meter, distance measuring wheel, and Heat gun.  Interprets technical diagrams and instructions, prepares systems and equipment documentation.  Maintain service records.
