One month in every summer, between the first and third year of study I was intern at Cynara Pharmacy. There, I took drugs from the distributor and arranged them in deposit and pharmacy. I prepared different types of creams and powders (especially for elderly and toddlers) because pharmacy has it's own laboratory. I deepened the knowledge about what I learned in university in that year – Knowledge about drugs, teas, creams for daily care and for different kinds of skin problems, medicines and food for kids, different types of insulin. In the fifth year, after Erasmus Traineeship I was there for three months (June-August) when I learned more about all types of drugs especially about medicines for chronic disease such diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer, Parkinson, epilepsy. Afterward, I gave drugs to patients and I provided pharmaceutical counseling for every patient even if that patient had a chronic disease or just a flu and a headache. Show less

During my Erasmus Traineeship I worked with mature stem cells harvested from adipose tissue. They were grown in two different media: Fetal Calf Serum (FCS) and human Platelet Lysate (hPL). At the end of the experiment, we wanted to see in which media the cells were better differentiated in osteoblasts. For this, we used two different types of experiments, for each media, after the cells were grown. First was staining with Alizarin red and it shows that where the color was more intense the calcium was more abundant. The second experiment was with RNA harvested from cells. After harvested and isolated, it has been transformed into cDNA and then analyzed by qPCR. In conclusion, after the experiments were done, according to results we concluded that both media can differentiate adipose stem cells to osteoblasts but results from qPCR shown us that hPL can do it better than FCS even if the experiment with Alizarin red shows more calcium in media with FCS. For one month at the end of my fourth year I was in drug factory and there I saw, learned and made different types of drugs: tablets, capsules, powders. I made with other pharmacists all phases from start to finished product. We made there tablets with or without coating. The drugs were analyzed at the end and also between the phases from the point of view physical, chemical, pharmacological and analytical.
