I provided supportive supervision to frontline health workers in Benue State during the MNCHW (June 2022) and monitored the implementation of the campaign, using the ODK mobile data collection tool to collet data on the field.Responsibilities: • Support cascaded LGA/Ward level training(s); including monitor key messages disseminated,• Support commodity distribution down to final service delivery points (facilities) and produce documented evidence of same (issue and receipt form) to Helen Keller Logistic team.• Support the implementation of the MNCHW micro plan.• Ensure that social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) activities is comprehensive/robust in assigned LGA/wards/health facilities.• Participate in monitoring and supervision of the campaign in all service delivery points of Ushongo LGA, including supplementation/treatments in outreach sites, fixed posts and special/transient sites.• Participate and make meaningful contributions in daily debriefing physical and virtual meetings at the LGA/ward level and with the state Helen Keller team.• Support the daily data collection and validation at the LGA, Ward and Health facility levels.• Compile daily implementation report, containing success stories, challenges, lessons learnt and recommendations.• Submission of monitoring data using ODK and daily call in data scaled to the facility level using stipulated reporting channels.• Support final data validation at the LGA level/submission across reporting channels including state, DHIS2 and Helen Keller State team.• Submit comprehensive report of the campaign after the implementation using the approved reporting template to specified reporting channels within one-week post implementation.       As a Data Enumerator, I worked with the project team of Plan International to map out children 2-23 months in households located at Urban slums in AMAC in preparation for the provision and distribution of micronutrient powders and small quantity lipid-Based nutrient supplement on the Enhancing Infant and Young Children Nutrition though home fortification by interviewing their caregivers using the Kobo Collect data collection tool and uploading data daily to the serer . Responsibilities: • Lead entry visit to Health Facility and community leader’s house. • Map out children 2-23 months by interviewing their caregivers to generate information for program implementation. • Interview caregivers to map out 40 children (2-23 months old) daily for analysis using the Kobo Collect software as a data collection tool. • Review data and send to server daily using the Kobo Collect software as a data collection tool, throughout the duration of the mapping. • Educate caregivers on the importance of micronutrient powders and get their consent before they participate in the interview. • Mark Households of caregivers interviewed. • Provide daily report of the mapping covering total number of children mapped, total number of households and the location of the mapping. Hence proper interventions like health talks and referal of malnurished children for proper management.-Collected data from relevant target groups (healthcare workers and caregivers), using ODK mobile data collection tool, which led to the daily upload of questionnaires to the ONA server, helping to review performances in the field and help correct possible errors daily.-Supervised and visited health facilities across the 10 wards in Ado LGA of Benue State, and conducted video and picture interviews and uploaded for data analysis Submitted a detailed report of the MNCHW campaign and documented challenges faced in the field during monitoring, lessons learnt, successes, best practices and as well proferred solutions and recommendation.
