1. Recruitment • Handle day to day management of the recruitment process i.e. involves sourcing, screening, administering reference checks and the job offer process. • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions • Responsible in the pre-recruitment and to conduct pre-screening interview via phone calls. Gather and compile employment paperwork such as CV, Academic Transcript, Teaching Permit etc. • Process employment paperwork (letters/documents) such as employment contract, staff confirmation, contract renewal, etc. • Work closely with other Departments/ Schools to understand their recruitment needs and requirements. • Monitor and prepare monthly staff turnover and retention rate report. • Resign, Retirement, Transfer and Termination. • Responsible for all matters related to resign, retirement and termination. • To prepare any letters and documents such as acceptance of resignation letter, transfer letter etc. • To obtain Management’s approval based on necessity or requirements. 2. Onboarding • Liaise with IT Department to create corporate email for new staff. Ensure new staff have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware and software. • Liaise with General Admin and Facilities Department for stationery kit and work space. • Coordinate and conduct induction for new staff. Explain company’s HR policies to new staff. • Welcome new staff upon their arrival and give them an office tour. Introduce new staff to current staff. 3. Training & Development • Develop, plan and organize various learning training and staff development activities. • Develop learning programs to facilitate the regulatory requirements for certain category of staff. • Responsible in training programs sourcing and maintain staff training records. • Ensure related training is claimable under HRDF.
