1. Responsible for end-to-end Malaysia payroll preparation and processing of all payrolls, monthly and off cycle; updating and maintaining payroll-related records and data files, and maintaining the payroll database. 2. Reconciliation of payroll report to validate system calculation as well as manual calculation i.e. base pay, OT, allowance, reimbursement, encashment, recurring and non-recurring pay elements, statutory deductions. 3. Preparation of bank file to upload in bank portal and maintaining employee bank account details. 4. Process and validate pay-slip and upload it to employee self service system. 5. Process statutory reports, to validate text file and amount before payment processing and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements. 6. Process payment and e-submission of LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD, PTPTN, Zakat, insurance via Citidirect portal, cheque, online banking by uploading text file to bank portal as well as liaising with statutory bodies for special case handling. 7. Troubleshoots payroll processing issues; develops root cause analysis and works with payroll manager and IT to bring items to resolution. 8. Process employee bonus and increment. 9. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of payroll processing function in accordance with Service Level Agreement. 10. Process new hire and termination i.e. CP22, CP22A, CP21. 11. Successful completion of year-end activity i.e. EA, Form E, PCB(II) forms for 2019-2021. 12. Hands on experience with PeopleSoft Oracle system. 13. Preparation and reconciliation of monthly GL. 14. Update shift and new year, public holidays, and annual leave carry over in Employee Self-Service. 15. Participate in new payroll project implementation for client change request. 16. Participate in user acceptance test and Mock Run. 17. Prepare and submit reports, statutory reports in accordance with Service Level Agreement.
