• SAKURA: Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science

  This is a 10 days exchange program on radiation measurements held at the Research Center for Nuclear Physics (RCNP), Osaka University. A total of 20 participants from selected universities in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam take part in this program. Four students including me represented the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This program aims at raising the interest of Asian youths in the radiation field and its application. Throughout the program, we were allowed to visit the RCNP ring cyclotron, had practical experience in handling experiments, enhanced our knowledge on radiation by attending the lectures, visit The Wakasawan Energy Research Center and get to broaden my networking circles with students from other countries.
