- Maintaining and retrieving data from hydrothermal monitoring stations and writing scripts in Python and VBA to manage, analyze, and process thermal, spatial, geodetic, climate, and seismic data for both research and science communication purposes. - Creating reports describing field and laboratory work findings and sharing these findings with park management and other vested parties for research, infrastructure, and safety purposes. - Generating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance, data management, and data release to ensure a seamless transition between seasonal employees. - Initiated the near-real time telemetering installation and set-up processes for selected geysers in the Upper Geyser Basin area for research purposes. - Identified issues with hydrothermal logger array and past data management, which I led the efforts for troubleshooting to secure recorded-mode data continuity. - Spearheaded the effort to create 3-D imagery of selected geysers using photogrammetry for research and public outreach purposes, as well as training the staff on both using the equipment and the processing software AGIsoft to increase the team’s knowledge and capability.
