  MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY • Media preparation according to manufacturer’s instructions. • Test all products to ensure conformance with Clover standards, methods, procedures, and policies. • Detection of pathogenic organisms using PCR, Pathatrix system, TEMPO and other conventional methods. • Analysis for the presence of E. coli, coliforms, Total plate count, Lactic acid bacteria, Spores, yeast, and moulds. • Antibiotic test in milk. • Water analysis. • Assisting in Proficiency testing • Taking and analysis of swabs • Maintain good microbiological laboratory practice in all operations in the microbiology laboratory in accordance with accepted microbiological standards. CHEMISTRY LABORATORY • Analysing raw and final products under the following tests: Protein content, Fat content, Moisture, viscosity, Brix, pH, density, freezing point and aflatoxins. • Contribute to the organization for the laboratory to achieve compliance with ISO 17025 and the relevant safety requirements. • Stock taking for laboratory chemicals, reagents, and media. • Partaking in sensory evaluation.
