- UK Business Process Lead for implementation of new Oracle finance system managing the end-to-end change process, including data migration, communication, training requirements, follow-up of captured change actions, and user acceptance testing.- Manage the end-to-end annual target setting process. This involves involves year-on-year analysis and consolidation of various inputs from Heads of Department to produce a budget that is in line with Growth/Profit expectations. - Manage the end-to-end quarterly financial forecasting process. Support Heads of Department to enable high quality inputs to be able to produce a reliable forecast in line with deadlines. - Prepare for and attend Forecast/Target reviews with senior management defending forecast/targets submitted.- Review and analyse management accounts on a monthly basis in order to validate and provide explanations on deviations compared to forecast.- Engage with Heads of Department as a Business Partner to continually drive performance and/or suggest mitigations if relevant. Provide ongoing business intelligence/analysis.- Monitor and follow up on Account Receivables including ensure dispute resolution by appropriate internal parties, follow up on incorrect cash allocation, identification of priority debts that need to be paid to minimise financial exposure, recommendations to minimise AR days. - Create user-friendly tools for forecasting inputs and to give visibility of business performance using Sharepoint/Excel.- Collaborate with Shared Service Finance function to ensure service delivery is in line with agreed Service Level agreement. - Suggest and/or action continuous improvement ideas as part of the Controller network.
