National Brand & Events Coordinator
-
Jun 2010 - Present
The National Empowerment Fund is an agency of "the dti" mandated to grow black economic participation, it is then guided by the Codes of Good Practice on BBBEE as well as the Industrial Policy Action Plan. NEF provides loans from R250 k to R75 Million. As a National Marketing Coordinator for this Institution, one needs to be broad minded and willing to work under pressure in making sure that the Brand is allinged well both Nationally and Internationally. By saying so one deals alot with Stakeholder engagements that would include Government, BMF's, NAFCOC, SEDA, All provincial Business Chambers just to mentioned a few... and this is to make sure that there is Black Economic growth throughout all Sectors. One also has to manage all Events that the NEF hosts nationally, make sure that the Brand is associated with the right market. As you might know that being in the Marketing and Communications department, you also deal with the Media and mostly public speaking/ addressals. Show less
