At the Hamlyn Centre and Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London, I developed biophotonic imaging tools to enhance clinicians' diagnostic capabilities during minimally invasive investigations. This included spectral imaging techniques, polarisation-resolved imaging, and structured illumination for 3D reconstruction. Clinical applications included colonic polyp assessment, tissue oxygenation measurement during bowel surgery and organ perfusion during transplant surgery.
