Top notch developer and friend. That is how I would describe Nathan. Throughout the years working together I've gotten to know him fairly well. We worked together on two sides of the same software system. He worked on the C++ library that our company's mobile app relied on to function, while I worked on the app to interface with said library. I can say that Nathan is an exceptional developer. Although he mostly worked on C++ code and projects, he was always able to 'hit the ground running' with other languages, skills, frameworks, etc. I saw firsthand as he very effectively pitched in on both the Android and iOS side of things when it was needed. Having come from a Java background I sometimes found myself asking him C++ and low level programming questions. Nathan was always patient and happy to explain his logic / algorithms through some of his solutions with me. This leads to my next point. Nathan is a very effective communicator. In meetings he was always honest and able to get his point across so that all parties shared a common understanding. He wasn't afraid to point out pain points so that we, our team, our company, could improve. Nathan is a team player. He was never afraid to help out where it was needed. Anytime I have come to him for advice or help he has always been willing to lend a hand on solving an issue. He seems to always have the answer or is able to point me in the right direction. Because he has always carried himself in a friendly, earnest and genuine manner, he is extremely easy to get along with. I think is an invaluable asset that any company should be lucky to have.

Nathan has an incredible ability to tackle his projects with steadfast quality and commitment. I had the pleasure of working alongside him on many games. He takes pride in delivering quality code, leading by example, and providing insightful recommendations to all team members. He always seeks ways to improve workflows. He is a valuable leader on any team.
