During the summer of 2018, as an intern, I had the opportunity to work with Nova at Samsung Venture Investment. As my supervisor, Nova was very approachable and easy to work with. She often took her time to provide me with detail and knowledge not only on my personal tasks but also on general operation of the firm. She has in-depth knowledge in management of the company/firm, strategic approaches to M&A and investment and team members’ needs for their own tasks. Nova has an extraordinary social skill with great professionalism. I have learned a lot about how to appropriately approach and cooperate with different types of people through working closely with her. Additionally, it was never a hassle to set up a meeting or coaching session with her. She had a great capability in balancing her days out efficiently so that she could work with colleagues from both Menlo Park office and HQ in Korea and Boston office . She not only has to be engaged with investments within US but also be aware of financial activities that occur in different branches of firm located all over the world which proves that she has an ability to take in and handle large volume of work. I genuinely enjoyed working with Nova during my internship and was able to learn a lot from her.
