Bio
Anthony Stanowski
Norm is a natural leader who rolls up his sleeves and gets his hands dirty to propel his organization to success. Self-confident, Norm has a great sense of humor and is a people-person. I first met Norm when he was the COO at Paladin. Norm was able to use Thomson Reuters (Solucient) data in a way to show to clients why his organization could help them succeed. Norm’s approach was to focus on the client’s needs, find data that supports why they need to change, and position his company as the solution to meet their needs. It’s a simple approach, but needs to be executed well to succeed. Norm executed it perfectly. We worked more closely together after I recruited him for the HPMSNJ Board. Norm’s leadership traits, creativity, and hands-on approach led the organization to a new level as he applied his talents to the society. The best example of this was how he shepherded the restatement of the PERCY awards for excellence in healthcare planning and marketing, and created approaches to add to the visibility of the award, and the society. Revenues increased under Norm. But more importantly, the society got closer. Norm facilitated this, through events like hosting a retreat at his Long Beach Island home in the summer. It was not surprising that he rose to become President. Norm is generous to his friends; I am proud to count myself as his friend.

Norm was always attentive to detail. Very aligned with the interests of others. Smart. Class act all the way around.

Initiated, recruited and hired a new team with a sales, business development, and consultation focus for the non hospital market. The team achieved significant incremental new business during the first year of operation and continued to provide high double digit year over year growth. Under my direction, the team provided customers with business planning, strategic marketing data, funding and marketing support for new and expanded diagnostic imaging center projects resulting in sales of new equipment, service and finance. I interacted with customers from major groups, hospitals as well as small businesses combining resources of GE Financial Services, GE Healthcare Marketing and Healthcare Solutions with the goal of developing new strategies and business growth. Prior to acquisition, I was the CT/MRI specialist with Elscint. Show less
