    • Chairlift Operator / Tube Run Operator
      • Nov 2005 - Apr 2017

Since moving to Traverse City in 2005, I worked seasonally (Winter) for Mt Holiday as a chairlift and tube run operator. I grew up skiing small local ski hills, and Mt Holiday is an absolute treasure for the kids & community of Traverse City. I've always wanted to be a lift operator, so I am. I normally work the Yellow Chairlift and have a lot of respect for those that work outdoors in the winter, it's grueling! In the summer Mt H is a free Frolf course named Carly's Playground (after a darling snowboarder we unfortunately lost). I also organize the annual 'Mt Holiday Comedy Fundraiser', an open mic comedy event we have every year. Mt Holiday is a 501.c.3 non-profit, so we need all the help & support we can get! Show less
