Professional Mechanical Engineer and Owner's Representative in support of facilities and energy projects for campuses in Bar Harbor, ME, Ellsworth, ME and Sacramento, CA. Project Manager for full planning and construction of new vivarium facilities, expansions and renovations with values up to $80 Million. We recently completed JAX's "Charles E Hewett" Technical Center expansion into the former " Lowes " Building in Ellsworth, Maine with a project value of $79 Million. Currently, we are working on Phase II of the Ellsworth Expansion. In 2014, I completed an extensive expansion/renovation at our CA facility with a value of $26.6 Million. My most interesting project has been a wood pellet fired steam boiler plant. 45 Million BTU input, the largest of its kind in the US. Added additional power generation via a steam turbine from the pellet boiler. Plant had a 3 year or less simple return on investment. Show less
