I am involved in the training delivery of Basic, Unit and Human Factors modules for ATC. I deliver training in Dublin and Shannon to rated experienced controllers, and to ab initio students. I liaise directly on an ongoing basis with the Irish Aviation Authority Safety and Regulatory Department for the approval of training courses. I worked as an ACS rated controller in Shannon En-route airspace from FL80 and above for 15 years. I was involved in a CPDLC simulation in 2010, and then in the development and delivery of a training programme for the COOPANS ATM system and CPDLC. This then led me to the training sector of the Irish Aviation Authority. This training sector was then acquired by Entry Point North in January 2014.
