Policy Research and Analysis: As part of the Fiscal Policy Office, collaborated with financial institutions and government bodies on various policy research and implementations. Selected projects include: 1. IFRS9 Accounting Standard evaluation: Analyzed the impact of IFRS9 on Special Financial Institutions (SFIs) and identified that 70% of SFI’s 20 million customers will be unable to secure loans due to IFRS9. Successfully pushed for extension of IFRS9 implementation, allowing SFIs to make further adjustments to benefit its low-credit customers 2. SFIs Liquidity Monitoring: Led monthly auditing and evaluation of SFI accounting reports. My analysis is used by Ministry of Finance to give approval for key SFI activities such as issuing bonds and accounting standard adjustments 3. Accounting Standard Implementation for co-operatives: Part of the 5-person team tasked with addressing the corruption and bankruptcy issues within the poorly regulated cooperative market (net asset over 95 Bn USD). Helped redesign and implement the accounting standard for over 2,000 cooperatives nationwide 4. COVID-19 Special Projects: As a researcher assigned to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on Thailand’s 3Tn USD tourism industry, I proposed an innovative online co-pay platform to help hotels and tourism businesses. The project was quickly implemented by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and is expected to inject over 1.26Bn USD into the tourism market, helping over 5000 hotels and 10 million workers. Show less
