I was fortunate to work with Norah at the Hilton Foundation. On top of being an amazing and genuine person, Norah can wear many hats in the communications and creative field. She knows how to translate board-level goals into actionable plans, and lead the teams to execute them. She has a natural ability to connect with people and tell their stories. Norah can write and effectively communicate with any internal or external audience, produce, direct, coach, lead creative projects - she does it all while bringing a positive vibe to every situation. Would be amazing to work with her again.

I had the pleasure of working with Norah at Global G.L.O.W., where she created communication campaigns that drove home the importance of listening to young people, especially girls. Her work was featured in a number of publications, and played an important role in accelerating the mission of the organization to support girl advocates. In the workplace Norah has a way of making her peers, superiors and subordinates feel very comfortable, listened to and valued. I have seen her approach even high conflict situations with warmth, calmness and clear vision on how to achieve a win-win for all parties involved. I have also seen her push work spaces to be more inclusive for members from diverse communities. I sincerely believe that any team would be lucky to have someone as warm, diligent and mission driven as Norah.

My work focused on advocacy and connecting people through storytelling; tackling complex issues to deliver relatable messages with emotional resonance that prompted dialogue and action among target audiences. I ran communications for the HerStory Campaign at Global G.L.O.W. and was a member of the Strategy Muse team, writing feature articles and developing creative change management communication programs for a range of clients. Memorable highlights of my work during these years include creating a communications strategy around HerStory global ambassadors' participation in a youth summit as part of the UN's International Day of the Girl Child in NYC, and visiting the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota to meet with and learn from community members and educators running programs to cultivate changemakers for the next 7 generations.

Developed and executed strategic internal & external communication campaigns; managed media relations for one of the world's largest and most diverse providers of technical professional and architecture, engineering and construction services. I had a number of cool experiences at this job. I was part of a cross-company communications squad that launched the inaugural Construction Industry Safety Week, and I even got to view a space shuttle launch alongside Jacobs engineers at Kennedy Space Center in Florida!
