It was such a pleasure to work with Nora on several public relations campaigns while she was at Texas Farmers' Market. She was wonderful to work with and always so confident and prepared, as well as passionate about what she did. Nora is excellent in front of the camera and always has that big smile. She has nothing but great things ahead of her in the future.

Texas Farmers' Markets are year-round, producer-only, sustainable markets that support 150+ small businesses and have a $7.5+ million annual impact. As the Deputy Director, I oversaw the marketing and agriculture departments, where my primary duties included strategic planning, graphic design, social media strategy, media appearances, farm inspections, political advocacy, and continually expanding our reach to support the Texas agricultural community. In addition, I advised our Executive Director on all other facets of the organization including operations, sustainability, budgeting, board relations and fundraising. I advanced from being a freelance designer (2015) to Marketing & Events Coordinator (2016-2017) to Director of Marketing and Agriculture (2018) to Deputy Director (2019 - 2021) as a result of my innovation, strategic planning, leadership and skill. As a designer, researcher and project manager at Maya Lin studio I worked as the frontline liaison for two core projects — the What Is Missing? Foundation and the Museum of Chinese in America — for the world-renowned artist, architect, and memorialist Maya Lin. My work with What Is Missing? centered on project management, environmental research, photographic research, development of international art installations, print design, web design, coordination of public and private events, management of creative consultants, marketing, public relations, on-site photography, archive maintenance, social media strategy, and general administrative duties. I worked on this project full-time in Maya's NYC studio 2010 — mid-2014. In mid-2014 my work shifted when I moved to Austin, TX and I worked remotely through the spring of 2021 partnering with universities, libraries, historical societies, conservation groups and photography archives to build visually engaging environmental history timelines from around the world. My work with the Museum of Chinese in American centered on print design for in-museum brochures, development packets, and event invitations and materials. Show less
