As guidance counselor, my work is concentrated in all populations that include the Special Ed, LEP, 504s and grade repeat students as well as general Ed 8-12 graders in a 6A school. The guidance program consists of developing 4 year graduation plans, closely monitoring student progress towards graduation and post high school plans. Other programs I am serving in our district: the Drug intervention program where I provide 10 sessions of counseling outside of the school day to students that have violated student code of conduct, proctor ACT, LEP, bilingual translations, evening parent information nights, career fairs, student registrations.
