Initiating and carrying out activities for girls between the ages of 8-14, from the Bourj al Barajne refugee camp. We spend 5 hours every two weeks with the girls, taking the time to build relationships with them. We also play games created by the Red Cross, which help build and sustain healthy relationships between the girls, and between the girls and ourselves. Camp Teacher
-
Jun 2012 - Jul 2012
I served as a teacher in the schools summer camp; alongside two other young women, we were in charge of 15 children ages 3-5. The summer camp was Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 3pm for 6 weeks. During the camp we arranged various activities for the children such as arts and crafts, story time, play time etc... It was a challenging but extremely beneficial learning experience.
