Quality Control Manager for the Lower American River Contract 1, Site 2-1 (W9123822C0007). The project included construction of roughly 5,500 feet of stream bank protection and stabilization of the existing levee, to protect critical infrastructure against the effects of erosion during large flood events. The work involved clearing, grubbing, earthwork, construction of stone protection structure with over 150 thousand tons of rocks, installation of planting benches, instream wood structures, live cuttings; and grass seeding and erosion control. Beside my QCM responsibilities, I utilized P6 scheduling software and the critical path method (CPM) to develop preliminary schedule and initial schedule for this $32M project. Worked as a CQC Manager for the ARCF Natomas Reach I Contract 1 (W9123818C0022) and as an Alternate QCM for the ARCF Natomas Reach H (W9123819C0006). The scope of these projects included a levee improvement, construction project requiring the construction of the cutoff wall to increase flood risk reduction at the confluence of the American and Sacramento River in Sacramento, CA. My responsibilities included three phase of control for DFOW, weekly coordination meetings, observe and monitor daily field activities for compliance with the plans and specifications, communicate with the lab for field testing as required and submit the reports to the government. Along with my QCM duties with IDCC I also aided in a supervisory manner and successfully completed 11 US funded BPA contracts. Camp Pamir MHE, Camp Bost MHE, HKIA Ramp and Camp Blackbeard & Blackfish MHE are a few of those projects. My work included Supervising QC on how to implement design drawings, specifications, project schedule and perform proper site inspections, tests, any deficiency tracking and correction. I also prepared, submitted and documented meeting agendas, RFIs, submittals, pay requests, test results and daily reports. I performed equipment inspections prior to delivery to the US Airforce and worked with personnel to make sure they meet contract safety requirements. In addition to my QCM and SSHO duties, I observed-field testing and results with the mix designs, project scope and specifications of the mix designs to determine and recommended to contractors of best material to be used. This included Coordinating & Submitting Lab test reports, material delivery logs, daily reports, site inspection check lists and other construction submittals to the contracting officer for review and approval. I successfully completed design and construction on army corps contracts including ECPs, Parking lot and lighting on the MOI HQ ECP’s Contract. Along with my QCM work, I reviewed scopes of work, technical requirements, specifications and blueprints to assure all activities were in accordance to the contract. And oversaw site inspections including rebar, formwork, truss, CMU, plaster, paint, concrete. As QCM, I also prepared and submitted construction submittals, daily reports, pay request, test results, inspection check lists. Prepared preparatory meeting agendas for new definable feature of works and shared them with the USACE personnel 48 hour prior to the meeting. Conducted initial and follow up inspections and updated redline drawings during the project for as-built drawings. During my duties as Construction/QC manager, I completed contracts that include the Fire Station Building, ANP HQ, Sar-e-Pul.. As SSHO on the ANP MOI Complex entry points contract I prepared Accident Prevention Plans (APP) and prepared activity hazard analysis (AHA’s) for all definable feature of works based on EM385-1-1 requirements for the newly awarded projects. My duties also included preparing, submitting, receiving approval and implementing plans including the mobilization plans, demolition plans, environmental protection plans, fall protection plans, excavation plans, confined space plans, crane lifting plans, and traffic control plans.On site I conducted necessary site inspections, supervisory meetings and observed work to make sure all the personnel are working in a safe environment.
