Conference secretary for Built Environment and Natural Environment (BEAN) as part of the Built Environment and Sustainable Technologies (BEST) Research Institute. My role as conference secretary included accepting paper submissions, performing administrative duties and overseeing the procurement of merchandise and its dissemination for event. In 2013 I became a member of the Conference Committee in which my responsibilities included securing donations and keynote speakers.

My PhD thesis investigated how two psychological constructs (personality and emotional intelligence) as well as education could have an impact on built environment student attitudes towards sustainability.

Assisted in the organising of the European Academy of Land Use and Development (EALD) conference. In addition to performing administrative duties and ordering merchandise to be given out to delegates on the day, I was involved in registration and collecting conference fees from delegates.
