      In this one-year contract my role has been to ensure the continuity of the HR functions alongside the HR Manager. My general responsibilities are largely to ensure HR compliance with internal policies as well as federal and provincial regulations (i.e. writing policies to fulfill legislative requirements, submitting requested documents for the corporate audit, ensuring personnel files include Vulnerable Sector Checks - where applicable etc.) and provide support in all aspects of HR including but not limited to recruitment, training, performance management, HRIS solutions, payroll, benefits, policies & procedures and more.
