I have had to work with… Show more Throughout my time at Doudney Sheet Metal Works, I have grown into a highly skilled assistant technician who can do everything from fabrication, to welding, to field installation, to customer service, to CAD design, etc. Day to day, I am entrusted with working on high pressure jobs that require precision and focus. I am able to read engineering diagrams and create fine pieces of work from blank sheets of metal, as well as carry myself highly and safely on job sites. I have had to work with numerous general contractors on site in order to make sure the work I install is done so precisely and safely. At Doudney, I went from barely being able to tell the difference between types of metal to being entrusted with full jobs, showing how teachable I am and how well I listen to those who I know are more skilled than myself. Here, I also learned how to stick and MIG weld, both vital skills for any engineering application.
