  Welder / Machinist Assistant Handled a variety of tasks at this small machine shop including lathe and machinist work, welding, and deliveries and pickups from paper mills. Fabricate custom parts and mechanical pieces, repair paper rolls and scissor lifts, drive tow motor and forklift, and perform machine maintenance and cleanup. Observe all safety protocols and regulations both inhouse and at customer facilities. • Contributed to the company’s bottom-line profitability by taking the initiative to establish an in-house welding department.
