- Inspect all types of electronic components (SMT & Through Hole Components), mechanical assembly, printed circuit board (PCB), all vendor raw materials and in-house manufactured products as per workmanship standard using valid tools and equipment to ensure they meet the required specification and within conformance.- Read, interpret and verify product documentation such as drawings, diagrams, datasheets specification in order to eliminate discrepancies.- Record inspection result in applicable inspection and test records, logs, forms and database for future references.- Conduct Source Inspection, First Article Inspection as necessary.

- Provide training to all employees for ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and IPC Standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-ST-001, IPC-7711/7721, IPC/WHMA-A-620) for certification and re-certification, including FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and 5S awareness program.- Conducts random on-job-audit to check employees proficiency to which certification is required.- Coordinate to all supervisors/managers for the scheduled training program and not affecting production schedule.- Update and maintain system record thru ERP system for the purpose of timely notification for those certifications that will expire soon and alert for expired certification. This is to maintain also validity of the certification to which the employee is required to perform his specific job.

- Shall preside MRB meeting if there is a reject lot encountered at IQA section.- Shall inform supplier on the quality issue encountered and follow up its closure. Information maybe in the form of SCAR issuance via electronic mail, phone, facsimile or personal discussion through supplier’s audit and quality meetings.- Shall ensure that quality issue is being acted upon by the supplier on a timely manner to prevent its recurrence.- Shall follow up with supplier on the disposition of sorting rejects. Then inform to IQA, MMD and PMC for the execution. Only one month is allowed to keep the sorting reject at STI premises.- Shall update and discuss with the concerned sections on the actions being taken for the MTAR received.
