  During this period I have defined and implemented life management strategy and operation and maintenance strategy for the coal-fired and combined cycle power plants in Galicia, Asturias and Castilla y León (2,600 MW). I conducted the process of closure, decommissioning and dismantling of coal-fired power plants, leading the relationship with local and national Administrations, trade unions and other stakeholders. Contributed in the definition of the Just Transition Strategy and the reindustrialisation plans for the sites, negotiating with companies in the four zones in order to contribute to the maintenance of economic activity in the area. Led a team of 400 employees at the 5 sites. Managed a decommissioning budget over 150 MM€ and OPEX of 60 MM€/year during the operation of the plants. Negotiated and implemented low-cost solutions to extend the life of the plants while meeting environmental regulations. Show less
