Airtel Trace stars voted best digital campaign at the 2015 Social media awards in Uganda- Launched and have grown the Airtel Rising stars property, a local grass root football property for under 17 boys and girls to a house hold and calendared football asset that has seen in 5 years of existance at least 7 kids join the national team Uganda cranes- a clear picture of a brand nurturing talents through developing passion points. ARS is in its 5 year of existance-Launched and have grown the Airtel National Basketball League since 2013 and have developed and supported the sport tremendously, which has seen Uganda qualify for the first time to the Africa Basketball games held in Tunisia in August 2015.
