During my time traveling this summer, I joined the shrimp basket. Joining shrimp basket gave me a unique opportunity to be able to learn about small business as they work through the scaling process. I was also able to learn more about tourist patterns and different advertising methods that I will able to bring with me and apply in the future. I work closely with management as well as my co-workers to ensure all the needs of guests are meant and exceeded to increase value to the company and work towards increasing repeat customers. During my time of employment I have created a better understanding of what it takes to make an efficient system in the work place by working with my lead servers to make sure every guest is taken care of swiftly. I have also stayed after work to look into the business side of running a restaurant and learned how to manage employees and manage the numbers side of the business.

I assured that all needs of 50+ patients were met throughout the day. My main responsibility was to ensure that all medications are delivered to my patients. This requires a great deal of coordination and organization to assure that no mistakes are made. I began as a CNA and was promoted to Med-Tech a few months later. I have been provided with multiple raises due to my increase in responsibilities and management’s confidence in my abilities. I take my job very seriously and work to build strong relationships with my patients. This has been the first step in my nursing career and I have been able to quickly adjust to any new duties I have been assigned.
