The function of applications engineering is to connect engineers and owners with the Kubota Submerged Membrane technology. Responsibilities include engineering preliminary designs for new and retrofit wastewater facilities, helping others understand the requirements and benefits of the technology by providing detailed performance and technical specifications, working collaboratively to refine the design of a facility to meet project goals, and providing bids and firm proposals for projects. Other duties include providing assistance for facilities during troubleshooting, coordinating trade shows and conferences, and developing technical and marketing materials. Water scarcity is a global issue. At KMU we are helping to address this by providing facilities the technology they need to produce reuse quality water from wastewater. This directly address the water crisis by allowing facilities to use millions of gallons of reuse water every day, decreasing the demand on the potable water system. Show less
