Reestablishing the Human Powered Vehicle Club at UW-Madison, a club focused on the design and fabrication of innovative commuter transport, with a focus on optimal bicycle design. This included a senior design project working on the full design and fabrication of a solar-powered eBike trailer, with models made of both carbon fiber and fiberglass composites. The trailer includes an additional battery for added range on long-distance bike rides, solar recharging, storage, and fast-charging capabilities. It was designed with the idea of optimizing long-distance travel on eBike over a multitude of different surfaces with consideration for additional drag and weight. Show less

Currently working on the design and implementation of multiple different systems for an electron beam scanning and metal printing device, with a focus on vacuum and safety systems. Previously assisted in the research of possible 3D printed materials for use as calibration phantoms with ultrasound imaging, and in research on the potential of ultrasound imaging in addition to thermal imaging for early diabetic foot ulcer detection. The system-level research and development of advanced pumping technologies for next-gen contrast injectors, with a focus on selecting and implementing outsourced components to meet our technical needs. This began with the initial design of the physical pumping system, motion control, and software system. The system fixtures were designed in SolidWorks, and printed on an FDM machine. Also included a leadership role for a team of two co-ops and myself in project development, including assigning tasks and deadlines. Show less
