Manufacturing Engineer Lead/ Continous Improvement Manager

This is the second rotation within the Precision Castpart Corp Technical Rotation Program where I have since been hired on permanently.- Actualized $750k in cost savings and tracked $3 million of additional savings through facility improvement projects such as automation projects, machine retrofitting, and inventory reduction- Managed a team of eight engineers to perform daily tasks and improvement projects. Additionally served as a mentor to two employees in development programs.- Designed a new NPI process which improved prioritization and reduced delinquencies on first part builds- Created manufacturing processes and coordinated with the customer’s purchasing and engineering teams to resolve issues and provide status updates- Coordinated of the 6S initiatives (5S plus Safety) for the facility through the identification and driving of improvement projects and track the progress through weekly facility audits.- Interviewed new potential candidates for the engineering team, train new candidates, and develop strategies for how to integrate new engineers into the team based on current team needs.

As the Undergraduate Assistant, I assist with the recruitment, hiring, and scheduling of student employees. Additionally, I facilitate meetings and conduct training sessions and evaluations of the student employees. Further responsibilities include policy revision and logistical coordination of facility operations.

Building Manager

After working for the CWRU Athletics for a year and a half as a Customer Service Agent (CSA) I was promoted to the Building Manager position. As Building Manager, I was responsible for patron and operational activities at the Veale Athletic Center. My responsibilities included managing a team of student employees to accomplish day to day facility tasks. In addition the position required me to manage patron/facility issues as they occur and to find solutions to problems.

Acceleration Intern

Summer internship with the Acceleration Department of Start-Up Chile. I assisted with the conduction of entrepreneurial presentations/workshops as well as the facilitation of "pitch presentations" of entrepreneurs projects. Additionally, I work with the Acceleration team on the construction of networks, rankings, and curriculum to aide the startups development.
