Focusing on engaging our student's interests and talents, I am energized by my work with experts from STEM Education, Instructional Technology, Exceptional Children, and Arts Education, as we support our remarkable classroom teachers. The past five years have accelerated my interest in creating high-quality experiences for students and teachers as our school system pioneers such efforts as the DHS STEM Center, the annual Davie Experience Professional Development Conference, and an exciting partnership with the BB&T Leadership Institute. With the help of the Mebane Charitable Foundation, the Davie Community Foundation, and Ashley Furniture, Inc. we are leading the way in creating new possibilities for our students and their families.
