As the Operations Manager, I provided technical support to programmes/projects as well as managed grants. My job functions included the following: - Supported the facilitation of the development of the company’s two flagship products – an e- extension platform (FarmAid) and an animal disease detection app (Vetwiz). - Leveraged ICT to provide access to information on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), weather information and market access for over 35,000 small holder farmers in hard-to-reach communities. - Supported financial inclusion for smallholder farmers through collaborative partnerships with financial institutions. - Facilitated Public-Private-Development partnerships to foster improved access to inputs and market linkages for farmers. - Supported the design and implementation of strategies for the inclusion of women and People Living with Disabilities (PLWD) in the project - Worked with the business development team to develop and optimize the company’s business and revenue models. - Provided technical assistance to the project’s monitoring and evaluation framework in measuring and documenting project results using relevant tools - Developed monthly and annual project reports in line with donors’ expectations - Managed project funds in line with donor approved budget line Show less
