Nivi has the rare ability to both manage tasks at hand, keep the bigger picture in mind, and the important relationships that keep people invested. She is results-focused with a deep care to a positive outcome, and is able to quickly adjust course as needed to get the job done. She is a pleasure to both work with and manage, learns quickly and relates to both people and work on a keen and responsible manner. She has a high degree of self-responsibility, is highly valuable in a team setting, and comes with my highest recommendation.

George Basile

Nivi is a rare find. She knits together a truly global perspective and experience, boundless curiosity, and the discipline to undertake the hard work required to address emerging sustainability challenges, here and now. She has the courage to ask tough questions and has developed both the academic and professional capability to deliver solutions that create immediate value.

WSS is a sustainability consultancy arm of Arizona State University (ASU) founded by the Walton Family Foundation. They work primarily on greenhouse gas accounting and end-of-life material management projects. Here I honed my data analysis skills, working with incomplete environmental data sets, and leading research and building data analytics and models at scale. The Wiener Wasser Werke is the government water utility company that regulates and protects one of Austria’s prized resources: alpine spring water, which provides roughly 80% of Austria’s drinking water. I did the following: • Obtained first hand insights on reservoir protection practices, and was given guided field visits to the reservoirs by Austrian environmental policy and science experts, who helped shape the country’s advanced ecological policies. • Lab work involved measuring dissolved organic water pollutants through UV- absorption spectrometer and measuring dissolved anions and cations with ion chromatography and water ozone analysis. • Lab work also involved testing for Escherichia Coli and Coliform Bacteria levels and measuring nitrate, pH, BOD and metals in water and was also responsible for calibrating the measuring instruments and test results.
