Kalyani Sharp India Ltd. was renamed to Sharp India Ltd. i 2005. Associated for almost 30 years, joined Bharat Forge Ltd. as Trainee Engineer in the Industrial Design & Development Dept. Department transferred to Kalyani Sharp India Ltd., and presently acting as the Head of Design & Development and Production Engineering Dept. 2007 - 2014 Part of Air Conditioner Manufacturing Plant project study till plant installation at Koregaon Bhima in 2012. Introduced 18 Air conditioner models with different features, colours & decorations within 6 months. Localisation of more than 200 Air condition parts within short period. Project member for Refrigerator project, conducted vendor base study, cost study & production feasibility. Supervised development and introduction of local fit LCD products in India ranging from 14" ~ 32". Design & Development of various slim CRT TV models with High gloss finish. 2014 - Present Identifying business challenges, strengthening relationship, removing bottlenecks and meeting schedules. Preparing budget and planning capital/revenue expenses. Liaising with Govt. agencies for BIS/BEE Registration. Conducting products/parts quality & safety parameter audit and testing to meet global SHARP standards. Handled export project of Air Condition parts & assemblies to Elaraby group - Egypt. Ltd. incorporated in 1985 changed its name to Kalyani Sharp India Limited in 1986. The company was promoted by Bharat Forge Ltd., a Pune based Indian multi national company. 1993 - 1995 Implemented Sharp's global design standards & product development structure in India. Guided Design & Development of Colour & B/W TV models as per Sharp Japan's global quality and safety standards. Started various Test procedure to meet Sharp's test standards. Set up the CAD Design center in India for creating local fit models as per marketing requirements. Worked with various OEM's in north India to develop TV models. 1995 - 2004 Collaborated with Sharp's global base, introduced high end models ranging from 14" ~ 25" in India. Core member for the project of brand changeover activity( OPTONICA to SHARP ) in India in 1996. Core team member for the VCR Export Division, monitored development of VCR models in India for 100% EOU production and export to USA/Canada. Developed JIT system for production support. Design & Development of high end woofer system with trolley concept as per Indian requirement. Introduced Six speaker system TV models with detachable woofer. Developed Audio tower system. Managed CTV production project in North India. 2004 - 2008 Head of Mechanical Design and Development section ( TV,Audio,VCR ). Established EMS for North zone market for TV models. Designed & Developed High end Woofer system models with 8 speakers ( 1400PMPO ).. Established process for multi colour Painting with pneumatic jig & fixture design, Gas assisted moulds for TV. Bharat Forge Ltd., a Pune based Indian multinational company and flagship company of the Kalyani Group of Industries, engaged in automotive, power, steel, locomotive industries. Joined the group company as Trainee Engineer, worked on the development of home appliances products ( mixer grinder, iron press & toaster ) from product conception till manufacturing. Worked on new concept TV design with plastic cabinet with movable stand. Acted as a member of technology transfer team for TV Division. In the next role as Junior Engineer, worked as a team member for design & development of One of a Kind TV Design. This unique design with detachable side speakers was very popular in market. Developed moulds with interchangeable insert design to create various models from single mould. Managed technology transfer and implementation of BOM system as per Sharp's global system.
