Global Document Management System (GDMS) is one of the core programs in the Enterprise Content Management portfolio for AIG to provide a centralized system for document storage and retrieval for the users. The main user interface application for GDMS system, called ‘OneView’, is currently rolled out to more than 20 different countries. This application (OneView) has approximately 30K users and there is further plan to roll out to more countries; so we are expecting an increased demand for end user support. The objective of this Project is to provide GDM framework across the geographies and ensure implementation of a common set of standards, design principles and guidelines across the country and projects. It also aims to create a ‘Competency Centre’ to design a global solution that enables accelerated deployment. Work Location: Chennai, IndiaActivities Performed:Managing 24x7 centralized global support desk for Global Document Management System (GDMS) application.Aid in Contract Renewal process and perform benefit analysis in collaboration with Project Management.Contract Resource tracking, coordination with resource management team for sourcing and resumes, scheduling interviews, submitting recruitment forms and follow up for creation of AIG ID. Ownership of Project specific share point sites.Maintenance of contracts from vendors for resources, billing information and SLA contract.Responsible for sharing everyday performance metric dashboard which includes Incidents/ Requests trend analysis for complete AIG Claims using Excel and PPTs. Responsible for sharing the weekly dashboard with Client Manager to show the weekly Incident/ Request trend, Backlogs trend, SLA trend using PIVOT table and chart.Responsible for keeping track of project risk and issue logs in internal SharePoint.Coordinate and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.Generate project specific metrics dashboard for analysis, internal audits and progress reports.

Focusing on Insurance, the client owns many automated products on Policy Administration, Loss Report / Claims, Investigation and Payments.Desktop Application Profile comprises of a collection of more than sixty Graphical User Interface (GUI) screens accounting for about twenty five applications developed mainly using Visual Basic (VB) 6.0 .These applications are mostly Claims and few are related to Policy Services. Some of these applications are listed below. Loss Finder – Provides a wide search functionality, to find claims related to the specified member criteria Tow & Labor – Provides a way for the vendor to report Tow & Labor claims IE Toolbar – Provides a set of application shortcuts and quick links embedded on the Internet Explorer browser Salvage Assignment – Creates and sends salvage assignments to different salvage vendors, based on regions Appraisal Assignment Finder – Provides the capability for Member Service Representatives (MSR), to search the appraisal assignments for different search criteria. Desktop Application Profile is installed on top of the Standard Desktop Load and integrated with the MSR Desktop.My Responsibilites Retired a part of the Desktop Applications written in Visual Basic 6.0. Replaced with new user-friendly J2EE web based applications.Ensured all existing requirements are available in the new applications with easeAnalyzed and integrated new applications with existing web applications.Used existing architecture for development, to provide ease of maintenance.

First client was Sega Inter Settle AG, Switzerland SAG (SIS Aktienregister AG) is an organization specialized in the management of share registers, general meetings and in the administration of special registers. Also SAG provides depository and special services for various companies in Switzerland.SAG is a reverse engineering project. The old system was running in AS400. The new system was developed using J2EE technology with oracle 10g as backend. The old data was migrated to Oracle 10g database from IBM DB2 database.Developed new reports and letters as per new requirement changes using Crystal Reports XI.Defect fixing for report and letter related screens.Provided offshore support for writing user manual document for report and letter component.Running Load and ETL(Extraction Transformation and Loading),Generation of reports and letters,Debugging report generation related issues.Prepared SRS and design document for Report component. Migration of reports from DB2 to Oracle 10g.New reports development using Crystal Reports XI.Development of Report related screens and customization of multi lingual language labels (Reports will get generated automatically based on given language code).Worked on Batch Program will be running as part of every EOD for generation of Reports, Running Load and ETL,Generation of reports and letters,Debugging report generation related issues.
